Short cut pasta

The technique

• Customized projects. The storage plant is sized to fully satisfy the client’s requirements concerning the storage capacity as well as the loading and discharge systems. Therefore, it is always a customized project. The total storage capacity is determined by the combination between the storage capacity of one single cell and the total number of cells.

• Short cut pasta storage section:

Bucket elevators and bel conveyors in various sizes and capacities for the product feeding and distribution.

Storage cells with various dimensions, metal support structure with adjustable legs, discharge hopper in stainless steel, insulating self-supporting panels caged in an external metallic reinforcement, helical chutes in stainless steel, aluminium closures with inspection door, external walkways and access staircase.

Reversible extraction belts in various sizes and capacity with different models depending on product needs.

Selection sieves of various sizes and capacities depending on the pasta shapes.

• Electrical control panels are built according to the highest quality standards available on the market.

• Maximum level of automation, for PLC process control and PC supervision.

The technology

Loading group

The loading group can receive pasta from one or more production lines having different productions capacities with possibility to discharge each production line on each single product storage cell.

The automation of the loading system grants the traceability of the product loaded in each single cells and the management of the same without contamination allowing the identification of the waste automatically.

Storage group

The storage cells are equipped with empty silo sensors and laser probe for the measurement of the level of the product until the full cell is reached.

The automation of each individual cell allows the traceability and identification of the stored product.

The system manages the selection of cells with the same product or different products following a discharge sequence.

Discharge group

The discharge system can feed one or more packaging lines with the possibility to discharge each product storage cell on each packaging line.

The automation of the discharge system allows the traceability of the product pulled out from each single storage cell and the recipe management of the correct flow rate to each packaging line.

The system gives the possibility to mix different products, if needed (e.g. tricolor).

Quality features

• To avoid contaminations by foreign bodies.

• To avoid mixing of pasta shapes.

• To avoid deposits of dust and/or product, making cleaning operations easier.

• Ease access to control and/or cleaning areas.

• Use of materials suitable for food contact.
