Special shapes and nests

The technique

• Customized projects. Belts system storage plant for special pasta and nests is sized to fully satisfy the client’s requirements concerning the storage capacity as well as the loading and discharge systems. Therefore, it is always a customized project. The total storage capacity is determined by the combination between the storage capacity of one single tier and the total number of tiers.

• Belt system storage plant for special pasta and nests:

Multi discharge bucket elevators and belt spreader in various sizes and capacities for the product feeding and distribution on every single tier.

Storage tiers with various dimensions, metal support structure with adjustable legs, stainless steel product containment sides and anodized aluminium metal belt mounted on chain rings.

• Product extraction belts from every single tier, unilateral and bilateral in various sizes and capacity with different models depending on product needs.

• Selection sieves of various sizes and capacities depending on the pasta shapes.

• Electrical control panels are built according to the highest quality standards available on the market.

• Maximum level of automation, for PLC process control and PC supervision.

The technology

Loading group

The loading group can receive pasta from one production line having different productions capacities with possibility to discharge the product on each single storage tier.

The automation of the loading system grants the traceability of the product loaded in each single tier and the management of the same without contamination allowing the identification of the waste automatically.

Storage group

The storage tiers are equipped with photocell empty tier and photocells full tier and a gear motor controlled by inverter to adjust loading and discharge speed of the tier automatically.

The automation of each individual tier allows the traceability and identification of the stored product.

The system manages the selection of tiers with the same product or different products following a discharge sequence.

Discharge group

The discharge system can feed one or two packaging lines with the possibility to discharge each product storage tier on each packaging line.

The automation of the discharge system allows the traceability of the product pulled out from each single storage tier and the recipe management of the correct flow rate to each packaging line.

The system gives the possibility to mix different products, if needed (e.g. two or three colours).

Quality features

• To avoid contaminations by foreign bodies.

• To avoid mixing and breaking of pasta shapes.

• To avoid deposits of dust and/or product, making cleaning operations easier.

• Ease access to control and/or cleaning areas.

• Use of materials suitable for food contact.
